New Advanced Technology Reaches the Market
Indianapolis,
IN, November 21, 2006 -- Life science company Prosolia, Inc. began
shipping its OmniSpray product for mass spectrometry this month.
OmniSpray has applications in biological imagining, homeland security,
drug development, environmental science and industrial surface chemistry.
Prosolia Chairman Peter Kissinger commented, “It is extremely
satisfying to have the first units go out the door after several
years of research and product development. This is a real win for
life sciences in Indiana, as Prosolia has been enthusiastically
supported by Inproteo and the 21st Century Fund, with great support
from BioCrossroads. The eureka moment behind this development
occurred in the research laboratories of Purdue University chemistry
professor Graham Cooks, and his group continues to lead the way.
Prosolia’s Kevin Boscacci has taken this company from the
Purdue Life Sciences Business Plan Competition to shipping product!”
